Abstract:
Understanding intestinal drug absorption and what dosage to use are key steps when developing a new drug. Using the new ProteOn™ lipid capturing kits from Bio-Rad both of these important parameters can be determined.
Measuring the binding of small molecule drugs to liposomes is important when estimating the absorption of new drugs. The mechanism of action of peptide-based drugs on liposomes and lipid bilayers is also important when determining drug dosage for administration. In this webinar, Dr Dalia Shefizi presents unpublished data on both small molecule and peptide-based drugs showing how the new ProteOn™ LCP lipid capturing kits from Bio-Rad were used to answer these important questions.
