Description
Use Peptone Water (Indole Free) Broth as a non-selective broth for the growth of non-fastidious bacteria. This broth can be used as a basal medium or with the addition of carbohydrates, such as dextrose and lactose, for fermentation tests. Additionally, indole-free Peptone Water can be used for testing for indole production using Kovacs Reagent (3555313) or other indole detection systems.
