Overview
Listeria Special Broth II (LSB II), in this ready to use format, is packaged in two 5-liter bags. It is the second generation of broth specially formulated to be used with the easy DNA extraction protocol in combination with the iQ-Check™ Listeria monocytogenes II and Listeria spp. Kits. LSB II combines ingredients for improved cell resuscitation with a nutritive base. The selective agents included in this product are optimized to efficiently target competing flora without affecting the growth of Listeria. The product includes two bags, each containing 5 liters of ready-to-use broth and is ideal for laboratories that may not have facilities for media preparation. The product is sufficient for enriching 25 g of sample and is ideal for laboratories that may not have facilities for media preparation.
LSB II is an optimized formula for a shorter enrichment of L. monocytogenes and Listeria spp.
