Abstract
Students often struggle with tying cellular respiration and photosynthesis together. Algae beads illuminate how both processes are interrelated in an easy-to-use unified experimental system.
In this hands-on webinar developed with educators for educators, attendees will learn how to help their students connect these concepts with algae beads and the Bio-Rad Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration Kits. The system also empowers students to extend their learning by experimenting with light intensity, light color, temperature, and even other organisms.
Speaker's Biography
This webinar was presented by Karen Davis. Karen has been a reader, trainer, and College Board consultant for AP Biology and taught the course for over 20 of her 36 years in education. She has worked with students and educators in both urban and rural schools.
