The ZE5 Cell Analyzer is an innovative, versatile flow cytometer designed to deliver powerful advancements in the quality and quantity of data that you can generate. It is versatile enough to handle complex assays and able to deliver data at a rate unmatched by other instruments.

The ZE5 Cell Analyzer has a host of attributes that make it perfect for a wide range of applications and workflows:

  • Allows complex immunophenotyping with up to 5 lasers and 30 detection parameters
  • Adapts to your workflow, with a universal sample loader that can accommodate a wide range of sample formats and has integrated vortexing and temperature control
  • Powers through high throughput and screening assays with fast plate handling, allowing 96-well plates to be completed in less than 15 minutes and 384-well plates in less than 60 minutes
  • Detects rare events faster with an acquisition rate of up to 100,000 events/second without losing data due to electronic aborts
  • Resolves small particles, including exosomes, with a dedicated small particle detector

Upgrades

Large Capacity External Fluidics Carboys

Extend the run time of the fluidics up to approximately 22 hours without user intervention with large capacity external deionized water and waste carboys.

External House Deionized Water Connection Kit

The external house deionized (DI) water connection is available for laboratories with access to pressurized house DI water.

Small Particle Detector Upgrade Kit

Enhance the resolution of small particles with a dedicated small particle detector. A secondary forward scatter detector is available for three- and four-laser ZE5 Cell Analyzers with a 405 nm laser. Note: The small particle detector is included with the five-laser ZE5 Cell Analyzer.

UV Laser Upgrade: Five to Seven Detectors

Instruments that are supplied with a UV laser currently equipped with five detectors may be upgraded with the addition of two extra detectors for the UV laser. Kits are available in two filter configurations.

UV Laser Addition

Expand your experimental options with the addition of a UV laser. This upgrade adds a 355 nm laser with a bank of five detectors.

Every ZE5 Cell Analyzer purchased is shipped with a one-year license of FCS Express.

FCS Express Software is a fully integrated analysis, statistics, graphing, and reporting tool for getting flow cytometry results. FCS Express utilizes a familiar interface for quick learning and integrated spreadsheets so your graphs and statistics update as your gates change. When you are ready to publish and present your data, FCS Express has you covered by supporting direct high-resolution exports to PowerPoint, PDF, and six image formats at up to 700 DPI resolution. Importantly, FCS Express is optimized to support and display data acquired from all Bio-Rad flow cytometry instruments. FCS Express may be configured with additional options available directly from DeNovo Software to help meet 21 CFR part 11 compliance.
