Bio-Rad Tris-HCl gels are made without SDS. SDS is added to the sample and running buffer to create standard SDS denaturing electrophoresis conditions.

Overview

Criterion Tris-HCL Precast Gels are ideal for vertical midi gel electrophoresis. They provide Laemmli separation patterns using a standard Tris-glycine running buffer system. Criterion gels are compatible with the Criterion cell (1–2 gels) and the Criterion Dodeca™ cell (1–12 gels).
