Premixed Electrophoresis Running Buffers
Save preparation time and standardize your electrophoresis runs with premixed electrophoresis running buffers. They can be used with handcast or precast gels. Premixed buffers are made with Bio-Rad electrophoresis-purity reagents and are quality controlled to ensure reproducible results. The 5 L cube packages are economical and are designed with an easy-pour spout for convenience. They are compact and stackable to save bench space.

Premixed Electrophoresis Running Buffer Compositions

10x TBE 89 mM Tris, 89 mM boric acid, 2 mM EDTA, pH 8.3 Nucleic acid electrophoresis/sequencing; polyacrylamide or agarose gels
10x TBE extended range* 130 mM Tris, 45 mM boric acid, 2.5 mM EDTA, pH 8.3 Nucleic acid electrophoresis
50x TAE 40 mM Tris, 20 mM acetic acid, 1 mM EDTA, pH 8.0 Polyacrylamide or agarose gels

* Extends buffer capacity for longer DNA sequencing runs. Buffers are made with 18 megaohm water.

Premixed Electrophoresis Sample Buffers
Simplify and standardize your sample loading with premixed electrophoresis sample buffers. The concentrated formulas allow these buffers to be used with both liquid and lyophilized samples. All premixed sample buffers are tested to ensure quality and consistency.
