Choose this midi pH 5–8 Criterion IEF Gel to separate proteins based on their isoelectric point (pI). The nondenaturing gel contains 2% ampholytes, which form a linear pH gradient on application of current.
- Clear, sharp bands for easy identification of proteins
- Resolution of proteins with small differences in size that are not detectable by SDS-PAGE
- Use for analysis of post-translational modifications such as phosphorylation and glycosylation
- Typical run time is 150 min
