Overview
Bio-Rad's protein electrophoresis standards (molecular weight markers) provide an excellent way for your students to monitor the progress of their runs and to make valid gel-to-gel comparisons. Protein standards are also used to estimate molecular weights and to identify proteins in polyacrylamide gels.
Bio-Rad's protein standards contain bromophenol blue, for easier sample loading, and glycerol, to prevent the proteins from freezing at –20°C and to eliminate freeze/thaw degradation.
