Use these empty glass chromatography columns with low-pressure (<1 bar) chromatography systems or gravity flow separations. Econo-Column columns are ideal for simple packing and procedure running.

  • 0.5 × 5 cm (diameter × length); 1 ml volume
  • Porous polymer bed support at the bottom of the column retains fine particles
  • Translucent polypropylene end fittings allow viewing of the entire column bed
  • Autoclavable and NaOH compatible*
  • Includes one stopcock per column ordered

*Econo-Column columns are composed of borosilicate glass, polypropylene, and polyethylene. They have good chemical compatibility with acids, bases, chaotropes, and polar organic solvents. However, they should not be used with nonpolar solvents such as hexane or methylene chloride. Please contact technical support to verify the compatibility of untested solvents before use.
