Overview
Residual host cell DNA from Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells must be monitored throughout biopharmaceutical manufacturing to support product quality and safety. The Vericheck QX700 ddPCR CHO Residual DNA Quantification Kit is a Droplet Digital PCR–based solution that enables highly sensitive, precise quantification of residual CHO DNA in complex bioprocess intermediates. Using direct sample input and partitioning-based detection, the kit minimizes the effects of inhibitors, simplifies sample preparation, and delivers absolute quantification without a standard curve.
Features & Benefits
Direct sample input workflow
- Enables quantification of residual CHO host cell DNA from complex bioprocess intermediates without DNA extraction, simplifying sample preparation and reducing turnaround time
High sensitivity and precise quantification
- Delivers femtogram-level detection and quantification of residual CHO DNA without a standard curve, supporting sensitive measurements across a broad dynamic range
- Partitioning helps minimize the impact of inhibitors commonly found in process samples, improving measurement robustness
Optimized for residual DNA workflows
- Assay and supermix are optimized for residual DNA workflows are free of detectable CHO and E. coli DNA contamination
- Accurately quantifies even fragmented residual DNA targets, supporting analysis of process-relevant sample types
- High-throughput workflow supports processing of large sample sets in a single day on the QX700 ddPCR System*
Applications & Uses
- Quantify residual CHO host cell DNA in bioproduction intermediates
