Description

The TeSeE^® western blot kit is a high-performance tool for transmissible spongiform encephalopathy (TSE) confirmation.

Ultrasensitive Method

The TeSeE western blot kit uses the same principle for the purification step as the Bio-Rad rapid ELISA tests, with preliminary purification and concentration by centrifugation of the abnormal PrP (PrP^Sc). PrP^Sc is then detected using a western blot technique. The high PrP affinity of the new monoclonal antibody provides a highly sensitive test.

The TeSeE western blot kit is recognized worldwide by experts as an effective tool for confirmation of suspected TSE cases.

Suitable for Various Animal Species

The TeSeE western blot kit can efficiently detect PrP^Sc in various infected animal species:

Bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) in cattle
BSE or scrapie (including Nor98 and atypical scrapie) in sheep and goats
Chronic wasting disease (CWD) in cervids

High-Resolution Capacity

The remarkable resolution of the TeSeE western blot kit provides accurate positioning and identification of the PrP^Sc band pattern.
