Listeria special broth (LSB) is specially formulated to be used with the easy DNA extraction protocol in combination with the iQ-Check^® Listeria monocytogenes II and Listeria spp. kits. LSB combines a nutritive base with ingredients for improved cell resuscitation. The selective agents in LSB are optimized to efficiently target competing flora without affecting the growth of Listeria. The product contains 500 g of dehydrated powder and is ideal for laboratories with facilities for media preparation.
