Description
Description
Use siLentFect Lipid Reagent for the transfection of cultured mammalian cells with short interfering RNA (siRNA). The proprietary mixture of a cationic compound and a co-lipid is designed to provide high-efficiency transfection with reduced cytotoxicity. siLentFect Lipid Reagent has a high affinity for mall siRNA molecules, providing effective silencing of the target gene with low lipid volumes and low siRNA concentrations.
- Transfect siRNA into a broad range of cell lines
- Use only ≤5 nM siRNA for effective knockdown and reduce the risk of off-target effects
- Low lipid reagent levels facilitate efficient knockdown and reduce toxicity
- Transfection at culture densities from 50% to 90%
- Designed to work in media containing serum but can be used in the absence of serum
