Overview

Macro-Prep High Q Resin is a strong anion exchange resin containing quaternary amine functional groups that is ideal for purifying acidic and neutral proteins and peptides. It is an excellent choice for rapid purification and meets the demands of analytical, semipreparative, and process-scale applications.

The physical structure of Macro-Prep High Q Resin is specifically designed to achieve excellent resolution at very high flow rates. It consists of rigid methacrylate beads that have minimal shrinkage and swelling tendencies, enabling their effective use in low- and medium-pressure chromatography.

It is also available in a different composition – Macro-Prep High Q-3HT. The 3HT product uses a base bead which is polymerized faster resulting in a slightly larger pore size and a different ligand density range.

The superior mechanical and chemical stability of Macro-Prep High Q Resins make it a preferred choice over other Q supports on the market. Macro-Prep High Q Resins can be sanitized with chaotropic agents and can be autoclaved. They provide consistent and reproducible results.

Features and Benefits

  • High capacity for biomolecules
