Overview

The VARIANT II TURBO HbA1c Kit – 2.0 meets the strict requirements to be used as an aid in diagnosis of diabetes* by providing HbA1c results with variant hemoglobin detection and the least interference. This kit contains 2500 tests in a long-life cartridge to reduce reagent handling. Hemoglobin A1c is reportable in the presence of HbS, HbC, HbD and HbE traits. The VARIANT II TURBO System is designed for precise, high volume testing with minimal hands-on time — obtain accurate results in only 97 seconds. The VARIANT II TURBO HbA1c Kit – 2.0 is NGSP certified, correlates to the Diabetes Control and Complications Trial (DCCT) reference study, and traceable to the IFCC Reference Method.
