Pastorex™ Staph Plus; Latex Agglutination Test #3556353

Use Pastorex Staph Plus; Latex Agglutination Test for confirmation after detection and enumeration of all Staphylococcus spp. in products intended for human or animal consumption, or in environmental samples by RAPID'Staph Medium or other selective media. The test provides rapid, simultaneous detection of the cell wall antigens, fibrinogen affinity antigen (clumping factor) and protein A, and capsular polysaccharides of Staphylococcus aureus.

Features and Benefits

• Incorporates monoclonal antibodies, to both capsular polysaccharides and cell wall antigens, to reduce the risk of false negative results (an increasing number of S. aureus, mainly methicillin-resistant strains, can elude detection in some agglutination tests due to masking of cell wall antigens
• Kit includes control, disposable cards, and sticks
