Anti-dsDNA EIA Kit

The Bio-Rad Autoimmune Anti-dsDNA EIA test detects autoantibodies to dsDNA in human serum or plasma. Anti-dsDNA testing is intended for use in the diagnosis and management of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and certain other rheumatic diseases.

Antibodies to dsDNA are highly specific for SLE and are frequently detected in untreated patients with active disease. The presence of antibodies to dsDNA in SLE has been included as one of the criteria for disease classification by the American College of Rheumatology (ACR). Bio-Rad’s Anti-dsDNA EIA assays offer simplicity, sensitivity, reproducibility, and objectivity over other testing methods. These assays are standardized to the World Health Organization (WHO) anti-dsDNA standard Wo/80.
