Bio-Rad analytical grade chromatography resins are highly purified and sized to provide consistent, reproducible results across industrial applications from lab– to production-scale. They are available in a variety of particle (mesh) sizes and different functional groups and offer good scale-up economics. They are extensively purified to remove organic and inorganic impurities. AG Anionic, Cationic, and Mixed-Bed Resins
Analytical grade ion exchange resins (available in several ionic forms) can be used for separation of low molecular weight molecules, such as inorganic ions, and small molecules like organic acids, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, and desalting applications.
Chelex Resins are styrene divinylbenzene copolymers containing iminodiacetate ions. These act as chelating groups in binding polyvalent metal ions with high selectivity and are used to remove metal ions from samples and buffers.
Bio-Beads SM-2 Resin
Bio-Beads SM-2 Resin is a nonpolar polystyrene adsorbent made of polymeric beads used for hydrophobic interaction chromatography. They are often used for removal of detergents like Triton X-100, removal of organics and cleanup of drugs from plasma and urine.
Size Exclusion Resins
Bio-Gel P and Bio-Beads S-X Resins are designed for gentle, high-resolution separation of sensitive compounds in aqueous or organic solutions. They are available in variety of mesh sizes to accommodate a wide range of applications. Bio-Beads S-X Resins are useful for the fractionation of hydrophobic substances like pesticides, rodenticides, and lipids. Bio-Gel P Resins are available for gel filtration in the range of 100 to 100,000 daltons and desalting applications.
