Overview
A curated selection of Crystal Digital PCR Assays, sourced directly from Stilla Technologies, is available below. These assays are compatible exclusively with the naica and Nio Systems from Stilla Technologies, and must be run with Crystal Universal Reporters (catalog #12026172, #12026157, #12026173, and #12026136).
How It Works
Crystal Digital PCR Assays are developed with Crystal Flex Probes and are run with Crystal Universal Reporters, forming a two-component detection system:
- Crystal Flex Probes are nonfluorescent oligonucleotides specific to the target. They contain a non-target-specific sequence (a tag oligo) which, when released during the PCR reaction, triggers the fluorescence of its complementary Crystal Universal Reporter
- Crystal Universal Reporters are non-target-specific oligonucleotides that remain silent until activated. They emit a fluorescent signal only when triggered by their specific tag oligo during the PCR reaction
This modular design allows a single set of Crystal Universal Reporters to detect any target, keeping probe costs low while maintaining a consistent, reliable reporter system across all your assays.
