Overview
The BioPlex 2200 ANA Screen uses multiplex technology to generate up to 14 individual results per test: a composite ANA screen result plus up to 13 ANA analyte results.

1 Test = 14 Individual Results
With the fully automated BioPlex 2200 System, the BioPlex 2200 ANA Screen can provide up to 1,400 individual results per hour and eliminates separate follow-up testing to help clinical laboratories streamline workflow, automate testing processes, and manage ANA workloads better.
Each BioPlex 2200 ANA Screen reagent pack uses multiplex technology to deliver up to 14 results:
- ANA screen result‡
- Ribosomal protein
- SS-B
- RNP At†
- Centromere B
- dsDNA (quantitative)
- SS-A 52*
- Sm
- RNP 68†
- Jo-1
- Chromatin
- SS-A 60*
- Sm/RNP
- Scl-70
* SS-A (52 and 60) is reported as a composite results in the U.S.
† RNP (A and 68) is reported as a composite results in the U.S.

Optimize ANA Workflows
With full automation and multiplex technology, clinical laboratories can maximize autoantibody testing efficiency. Multiplexing takes full automation to the next level by allowing labs to complete ANA screening and follow-up testing in one step.

Reduce Operational Costs
ANA testing using IFA or other traditional EIA methods requires initial screening and multiple follow-up tests. In comparison, multiplexed ANA panels enable labs to use a single test to complete ANA screening and follow-up testing. Labs can expand in-house ANA testing menus and reduce send-out testing costs, all while using fewer reagents, calibrators, controls, and consumable supplies.

Improve Patient Care
By conducting an ANA screen and follow-up testing in a single step, labs can dramatically enhance result turnaround time and provide better patient care. Additionally, integrated quality control beads monitor assay parameters in real time to ensure the integrity of every test.
