Aspergillosis Testing

Platelia Aspergillus Ag Assays

Immunosuppressed patients are an at-risk population for invasive aspergillosis (IA). IA mortality rates are high in part because diagnosing IA in a timely manner can be challenging. To initiate efficient treatment and avoid costly antifungal therapy, early and reliable IA diagnosis is essential.

Platelia Aspergillus Ag Assay

Platelia Aspergillus Ag Assay

The Platelia Aspergillus Ag Assay aids in diagnosis by detecting circulating galactomannan (GM) Ag — the most relevant biomarker for invasive aspergillosis.

The highly sensitive assay is a noninvasive method that improves the rapid and specific diagnosis of IA when used alongside other diagnostic procedures.

It is the only Aspergillus Ag assay that is U.S. FDA 510(k) cleared and EU-IVDR certified for both adult and pediatric patient samples.

Platelia Aspergillus Verification Panel Kit

Verification Panel Assay

The Platelia Aspergillus Ag Verification Panel Kit allows laboratories to periodically verify operator proficiency in running the Platelia Aspergillus Ag Assay during training — before testing patient specimens and before participating in external quality assurance (EQA). Labs can also ensure proper performance of equipment and troubleshoot issues.
