Overview
Bio-Rad provides testing products for the Fya and Fyb antigens. Both Duffy antigens are fully developed at birth and Fya frequently causes immunization while Fyb is rarely the cause of immunization. Anti-Fya and anti-Fyb are practically always of immune origin. They both cause hemolytic transfusion reactions and can, although not frequently, cause hemolytic disease of the newborn (HDN).

Configuration Options
The ID-Card is intended to be used with sample red blood cell suspensions in ID-Diluent 2. Control Card 2 offers an optional control well and can be run in parallel.
