Bio-Rad’s Pathfinder HSV 1 and 2 DFA kit provides direct antigen detection and differentiation of herpes simplex virus (HSV) types 1 and 2 using fluorescein-conjugated monoclonal antibodies. Two results are available from one test in one hour. This test kit allows room temperature incubation and confirmation of cell culture isolates.
