Overview

The Hemoglobin Capillary Collection System combines collection, preparation, and transportation of capillary whole blood for the determination of hemoglobin A1c. Designed for use with the VARIANT II, VARIANT II TURBO and D-10 Systems, it uses a quick, painless fingerstick for clean, safe collection of capillary blood — no venipuncture required. Samples do not need refrigeration and are easy to transport. Labile HbA1c is removed in the vial and the system maintains high integrity of patient specimens.
