Webinar on Antibody Discovery

Explore New Advances in Antibody Discovery

Antibodies play a central role in modern medicine, serving as both therapeutics and as essential tools in diagnostics. While antibody generation against soluble proteins is well established, discovering binders to complex, multipass membrane proteins such as G-protein–coupled receptors (GPCRs) remains one of the greatest technical challenges in the field.

Webinar:

Advancements in Antibody Discovery
Against Challenging Membrane Targets

Recent innovations are helping scientists overcome these obstacles. Advances in screening methodologies, display technologies, and target-presentation systems are providing effective ways to tackle these difficult targets. One powerful approach combines phage display, a proven and versatile antibody-discovery method, with innovative membrane-protein stabilization platforms, which preserve native protein conformation within a lipid-nanoparticle environment.

In this webinar, Dr. Jens Frauenfeld (Salipro Biotech) will introduce an efficient process to stabilize membrane proteins in their native forms, and Dr. Paul Royle (Bio-Rad) will share insights into phage display and strategies for panning directly against stabilized GPCRs, including methods to preserve key extracellular epitopes and reduce off-target binding.

Join to learn:

  • Why GPCRs are vital drug targets and why they’re so challenging
  • How membrane-platform technology stabilizes GPCRs for better research results
  • How next-generation tools are advancing GPCR-targeting antibody development
  • How combining membrane technology with phage display yields high-affinity antibodies for hard-to-hit targets
