NalaGenetics x Bio-Rad Webinar Empowering Preventive Healthcare: Advancing Pharmacogenomics with Bio-Rad and NalaGenetics qPCR Solutions
In this webinar, we will present the outcomes of a study conducted across the primary ethnic groups in Singapore and Indonesia, utilizing the Bio-Rad CFX96 Touch™ Real-Time PCR System registered for IVD use with the Nala PGx Core® assay, showcasing robust and precise genotyping results.

The clinical utility of pharmacogenomics (PGx) is growing due to the discovery that 70% of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) are linked to genetics. Screening for specific pharmacogene variants, which influence drug metabolism and biodistribution, can customize treatments and minimize ADR risks. To support such efforts, the Nala PGx Core® provides a quantitative PCR-based multi-gene panel comprising 18 variants and 2 CYP2D6 copy number variants (CNV) markers, spanning 4 key pharmacogenes: CYP2C9, CYP2C19, CYP2D6, and SLCO1B1.
Additionally, with the introduction of the next generation of real-time PCR systems from Bio-Rad's CFX Opus product line, we also performed validation of the new qPCR platform's potential to accommodate the Nala PGx Core® assay panel by comparing results obtained from both the CFX Opus 96 Real-Time PCR (RUO) and the CFX Opus 96 Dx (IVD) Real-Time PCR Systems.
