Transfusion Science Webinar text and logo

Red blood cell (RBC) transfusion is a cornerstone of modern medicine, and accurate extended RBC phenotyping plays a vital role in preventing alloimmunization and ensuring transfusion compatibility. For patients at high risk, establishing extended RBC phenotypes is essential to minimizing alloimmunization and enabling the timely provision of compatible blood. Join Dr. Sofia Lejon Crottet as she explains the clinical importance of extended blood typing and identifies patient populations at increased risk of RBC alloimmunization.
