Clinical Practice Library
Some patient clinical conditions may require continued transfusion and medication support and this can lead to difficulties in pre-transfusion testing. In this category, experts in transfusion science share their knowledge using case studies and methodologies, for when test results are not as expected or when complications for the patient need to be managed.
Immunohematology Library
Blood group determination and the testing for the presence of unexpected antibodies is often a routine test. However, when a blood group anomaly or an unexpected antibody is discovered, what further testing may be required to identify the blood group or the antibody or antibodies present, and then to determine if clinically significant? In this category, experts in transfusion science discuss case studies and tools to help us resolve complex cases.
Informatics Library
The use of automation in laboratories is well accepted and has contributed to reduced errors and increased productivity and safety. But what role can software/informatics play in a laboratory? In this category, learn how informatics can transform laboratory networks through remote management and instrument support, increased productivity and better patient care.
Quality & Management Library
