Addressing Challenges in Immunohematology for Safer Results and Better Patient Care
Immunohematology is a constantly evolving field in which the introduction of new therapies, particularly monoclonal antibodies and innovative drugs, is significantly transforming the diagnostic and transfusion landscape. This scenario presents laboratories with new challenges, making it increasingly important to have reliable methods, standardized instruments, and shared strategies to ensure accurate results and, above all, maximum patient safety.
This symposium offers an opportunity to discuss some of these emerging issues, drawing on experiences from various Italian centers and international multicenter collaborations.
Our speakers will present about:
- Evaluation of anti-CD38 Neutralizing Reagents and Integration in Routine Laboratory Practices
- International Multicenter Evaluation of an Anti-Daratumumab Neutralizing Reagent (DaraClear)
- National Multicenter Evaluation and Standardization of ABO Antibody Titration with the IH-500
