Bio-Rad Molecular Diagnostics Grant Program
Bio-Rad is partnering with physicians and research scientists studying molecular biomarkers for key reproductive and women’s health applications. Innovative technologies such as ddPCR (droplet digital PCR) that enable simple workflows for the sensitive and rapid detection of molecular biomarkers, are well positioned to address existing and novel applications in reproductive and women’s health.
This 6-month grant program provides ddPCR instrumentation and reagents, support, and R&D expertise to clinicians and scientists developing tests for novel molecular biomarkers.
We're looking to support selected applicants working on biomarker development in a broad range of topics within reproductive and women's health.
At the end of this program, we hope the tests developed may lead to further work and/or abstracts or publications in high impact journals.

ddPCR for Molecular Biomarkers
Our simple and reliable Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR) platform has already led to innovations in oncology, infectious disease and genetics. While next generation sequencing (NGS) is useful for biomarker discovery, for the routine screening of known biomarkers, ddPCR often provides a more rapid, sensitive, and cost-effective approach.
