HERCULES, Calif. – Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: BIO and BIOb) is proud to announce a suite of new digital lessons developed in partnership with ADInstruments and Vernier Software & Technology. The new lessons integrate Bio-Rad Explorer kit activities with ADInstruments’ cloud-based active-learning platform, Lt, for an unmatched life science classroom experience. The new lessons are part of the Lt Biology Collection, a comprehensive suite of 34 lessons on a range of concepts in biology and biochemistry including protein function, DNA structure and function, CRISPR, and PCR. The interactive labs are built for active learning, apply real-world context to key scientific concepts, and include rigorous and diverse assessment. The new lessons add Bio-Rad’s expertise in advanced molecular topics such as CRISPR, PCR, SDS-PAGE, and ELISA.

“Together with ADInstruments, we are bringing greater flexibility and accessibility for students to engage with cutting-edge topics in life science,” says Bryony Ruegg, Director of the Bio-Rad Explorer education program at Bio-Rad Laboratories. “The Lt platform provides the high standard of quality we promise to our customers, and it amplifies the student engagement and learning educators rely on from Bio-Rad's hands-on labs.”

Amy Bucher, the Head of Education at ADInstruments has lauded the partnership stating, “Partnering with Bio-Rad strengthens Lt’s value as an “all-in-one” lab solution. We are excited to bring Bio-Rad’s highly respected and engaging kits to more educators, and to create a comprehensive biology curriculum online. We know how hard it is for educators when they need to pick and choose from different providers to build their curricula. By integrating Lt with Vernier’s Go Direct Sensors and Bio-Rad’s kits, we ensure that students can engage with rigorous content, interact with authentic data, and learn important molecular biology techniques, all in one platform.”

Lt’s cloud-based, flexible labs save educators time by centralizing content, grading, analytics, and course management. Learn how Lt can streamline your biology course by previewing the Collection or signing up for a free 90-day trial.
