After you submit a request for registration, you will receive an email from the Supply Centre team. This email will contain a link for you to set your own secret password.
Will my password expire?
No. Your password will not expire.
What if I forgot my Supply Centre password?
From the kiosk's log-in screen select your name using the dropdown menu and tap Forgot Password. Answer your secret question for immediate access to the Supply Centre.
How do I reset my Supply Centre password?

Is the Supply Centre accessible to everyone at our institution?
No. Only authorized users will be able to gain access to the Supply Centre. The Supply Centre doors are locked. Authorized users will gain access with their log-in and password credentials.
Do I need a card to access the Bio-Rad Supply Centre?
No, authorized users will gain access by logging in with their user name and password on the computer kiosk at the Supply Centre.
Can our lab add or remove a group or user from our authorized user list?
Yes. To add or remove a group or user from your authorized user list, please email supplycentreseurope@bio-rad.com or contact your account manager.
Can I access the Bio-Rad Supply Centre at any time?
Yes, you can purchase from the Bio-Rad Supply Centre 24 hours a day. However, access may be restricted based on your building access policy.
What if my product cannot be scanned?
If a product barcode is not recognized by the kiosk's scanner, manually input the product number by clicking the Manual Entry button located in the top right corner of the Select Items screen.
What if I scan and check out the wrong item? How do I exchange the product?
If you accidentally check out a product, you have 30 minutes to return it. Please Reply All to the confirmation email that you receive and indicate that you took the wrong item. Please return the product to the Supply Centre immediately. You will not be billed for this order.
Is it possible to include a pre-authorized purchase number from my internal purchasing group at the time of purchase from the Supply Centre?
Yes. Users may enter a pre-authorized purchase number directly on the Payment Method screen at the Supply Centre at the time of purchase.
My institution does not provide pre-authorized numbers for purchases made at the Supply Centre, but my institution does require that the subsequently authorized number will be displayed on the invoice. Can we still consider the Bio-Rad Supply Centre?
Yes. Please discuss your institution’s purchasing procedure with the Supply Centre team at the time of the agreement. Bio-Rad has many solutions for this problem. For specific questions, please email supplycentreseurope@bio-rad.com.
My lab has several cost centres. Is it possible to place orders with different cost centre numbers?
Yes. An individual can place orders with different cost centre numbers. If you have specific questions regarding how to set up and use this feature, please email supplycentreseurope@bio-rad.com.
Our lab comprises two groups. Is it possible to have two different price lists at our Supply Centre?
No. Only one price list can be set at an individual Supply Centre.
How am I notified of my Supply Centre purchases?
You will receive a confirmation email each time you submit an order at the Supply Centre.
Is it possible for my supervisor to receive notification of my Supply Centre purchases even though my supervisor is not a registered user?
Yes. Please make a request that your supervisor is copied on your order confirmations at the time of your registration.
Whose responsibility is it to restock the Supply Centre?
A person at your institution designated at the time of the agreement will restock the Supply Centre.
Will Bio-Rad compensate the person who is designated to restock the Supply Centre?
No. Bio-Rad will not compensate the person who is designated to restock the Supply Centre.
How often does the Supply Centre need to be restocked?
Bio-Rad will work with you to determine a restocking schedule. On average, restocking is once every two weeks as a consolidated shipment.
How long does it take to restock the Supply Centre?
It takes 10–30 minutes on average to restock a Supply Centre.
Should I be worried about running out of products between the consolidated shipments?
No, the Supply Centre team will work with you to determine the quantities of stock to keep on hand. This quantity can be increased or decreased as your demand changes.
How does Bio-Rad know which items need to be restocked?
This process is automated. Bio-Rad will restock the items based on usage.
How do I request to have a new product stocked in the Supply Centre?
Bio-Rad is happy to add regularly used products to your Supply Centre. Please email supplycentreseurope@bio-rad.com with your product request.
Does the Supply Centre shipment clearly identify that the order is intended for the Supply Centre?
Yes, the packing slip will clearly identify that the order is intended for the Supply Centre and will include the name of the individual who restocks the Supply Centre.
Do I have to pay for the Supply Centre cabinets?
No, Bio-Rad provides the Supply Centre cabinets for your lab’s use and retains ownership of them.
We don’t have a lot of space in our lab. Do you have a Supply Centre solution for a lab with limited space?
Yes. Bio-Rad has several cabinet configurations including an under-counter model. Please discuss these options with your Bio-Rad account manager.
Do I have to pay for the Supply Centre inventory?
The Supply Centre inventory is on consignment. You are responsible for paying for the product only after you take it from the Supply Centre cabinet.
Am I responsible for paying for products that expire?
No; however, the Bio-Rad Supply Centre will work with you on choosing the best inventory of stocked items for your lab so as to minimize product expiration.
Is the acceptance of the partnership agreement necessary to have a Bio-Rad Supply Centre?

Monthly consolidated invoices are available in some countries. Please discuss this with the Supply Centre team at the time of your agreement
My purchasing department and lab administrator are interested in expense monitoring. How will they be notified of my purchases?
Bio-Rad has various solutions to address expense monitoring and notification. Your purchasing department and lab administrator can be copied on your confirmation emails each time you submit an order, or they can elect to receive weekly or monthly reports. The weekly or monthly reports can be exported into Microsoft Excel and are easily managed.
What are the electrical requirements for a Bio-Rad Supply Centre?

What are the Internet requirements for a Bio-Rad Supply Centre?
The Bio-Rad Supply Centre requires an Internet connection for correct operation. The Supply Centre team will work closely with your IT group to make sure that the requirements are met. The Bio-Rad Supply Centre programme provides on-site stocking of consumables and reagents for molecular biology, genomics, proteomics, and other research areas at a convenient location at your institution. The Supply Centre cabinet(s) offer anytime access to these supplies.
Is the Bio-Rad Supply Centre right for me?
Bio-Rad offers a broad range of Supply Centre solutions that meet the needs of researchers and institutions. If you want to reduce the amount of time you spend waiting for products to arrive and would prefer to have products on site, then a Bio-Rad Supply Centre is right for you.

No, Bio-Rad offers free shipping on all stocked products.
Who decides what products are stocked in the Supply Centre?
Bio-Rad provides you with a customized inventory. You can work with your Bio-Rad account manager to choose the items that are best for your lab.
How is the Supply Centre inventory managed?
The inventory management process is automated. Bio-Rad will automatically replenish the items in your Supply Centre based on your usage. We will work with you to determine who will place the replenished items into the Supply Centre cabinet.
