Description
Use 2x TBE-Urea Sample Buffer for denaturing electrophoresis of nucleic acids.
1x formulation: 89 mM Tris, 89 mM boric acid, 2 mM EDTA, pH 8.0, 12% ficoll, 0.01% bromophenol blue, 0.02% xylene cyanole FF, 7 M urea
Instructions for use: Dilute sample 1:1 with sample buffer. Dry samples can be dissolved directly into the buffer. Heat at 70 °C for 4 min prior to loading. Temperatures up to 90 °C, may be required to completely denature some samples.
