RC3H1 or roquin encodes a highly conserved member of the RING type ubiquitin ligase protein family (Vinuesa et al. 2005 [PubMed 15917799]). The roquin protein is distinguished by the presence of a CCCH zinc finger found in RNA-binding proteins and localization to cytosolic RNA granules implicated in regulating mRNA translation and stability.[supplied by OMIM Mar 2008]
Products used to generate validation data:
Amplification of cDNA generated from universal RNA.
Melt curve analysis of above amplification.
Standard curve generated using 20 million copies of template diluted 10 fold to 20 copies.
