The UView Mini Transilluminator is a compact device for visualizing dye-stained DNA fragments or other fluorescent applications that require excitation at 365 nm.
This gel imaging tool was designed for use with the UView 6x Loading Dye and Stain, which saves time by eliminating the staining and destaining steps associated with DNA gel electrophoresis. It is a convenient complement to the following:

The viewing area accommodates one mini gel lengthwise or two mini gels widthwise (8 x 15 cm). For safety, the unit features a UV blocking shield and an auto shutoff when the shield is removed. This shutoff can be manually overridden during band excision.
