ProteOn GLC Sensor Chip

For general amine coupling: compact polymer layer with binding capacity of approximately one protein monolayer. Suitable for various applications, including protein-protein interaction analysis.

ProteOn GLM Sensor Chip

For general amine coupling: extended polymer matrix with intermediate binding capacity for high response. Suitable for various applications, including protein-small molecule and protein-protein interaction analysis.

ProteOn GLH Sensor Chip

For general amine coupling: highly extended polymer layer for maximum binding capacity. Suitable for protein-small molecule and protein-protein interactions where highest sensitivity is the primary objective.

ProteOn NLC Sensor Chip

For binding of biotinylated molecules: NeutrAvidin immobilized to GLC layer. Suitable for various applications, including protein-DNA and protein-protein interaction analysis.

ProteOn™ HTG and HTE Sensor Chips

ProteOn HTG Sensor Chip

For binding of polyhistidine-tagged proteins/ligands: tris-NTA complexes are attached to a polymer matrix layer and are activated by injection of Ni2+ ions.
Applications: The HTG sensor chip features a low-density tris-NTA surface suitable for protein-protein, protein-peptide, and protein-DNA interaction analysis.

ProteOn HTE Sensor Chip

For binding of polyhistidine-tagged proteins/ligands: tris-NTA complexes are attached to an alginate matrix layer and are activated by injection of Ni2+ ions.
Applications: The HTE sensor chip features a high-density tris-NTA surface suitable for protein-peptide, protein-DNA, and protein–small molecule interaction analysis.

Used with the ProteOn™ XPR36 protein interaction array system, ProteOn sensor chips combine advanced surface chemistries with state-of-the-art microfluidics. Robust, real-time, label-free biomolecular interaction data are generated in this novel 6 x 6 SPR technology.

NEW! ProteOn LCP Sensor Chip
The LCP sensor chip provides a surface that contains NeutrAvidin in a planar configuration. It is designed for use with the ProteOn LCP reagent kit, which allows capturing of both single and multiple layers of lipid assemblies such as liposomes.

ProteOn GLC Sensor Chip
The GLC sensor chip is designed for general amine coupling and has a compact polymer layer with a binding capacity of approximately one protein monolayer. It is most suitable for protein-protein interaction analysis.

ProteOn GLM Sensor Chip
The GLM sensor chip is designed for general amine coupling and has an extended polymer matrix with intermediate binding capacity for high response. It is suitable for both protein–small molecule and protein-protein interaction analysis.

ProteOn GLH Sensor Chip
The GLH sensor chip is designed for general amine coupling and has the highest extended polymer layer for maximum binding capacity. Most suitable for protein–small molecule applications where high sensitivity is the primary objective.

ProteOn NLC Sensor Chip
The NLC sensor chip features NeutrAvidin immobilized to the GLC polymer layer with a binding capacity of approximately one protein monolayer. It is an ideal choice for binding of biotinylated proteins, peptides, and nucleic acids.

ProteOn histidine-tag Sensor Chips
The ProteOn histidine-tag sensor chips feature novel tris-NTA complexes for improved capturing of histidine-tagged proteins. The complexes are attached to an alginate matrix layer and are activated by injection of Ni2+ ions and regenerated by injection of EDTA.

  • ProteOn HTG sensor chip — has a lower tris-NTA surface density and less nonspecific binding, making it suitable for protein-protein and protein-peptide interaction analysis
  • ProteOn HTE sensor chip — has an elevated tris-NTA surface density optimal for protein–small molecule interaction analysis

Each ProteOn sensor chip is enclosed in a bar-coded cartridge for reliable data tracking and archiving.

ProteOn Maintenance Chips
There are two maintenance sensor chips for use in the ProteOn XPR36 system. These chips are available individually or as part of the ProteOn maintenance kit:

The ProteOn XPR36 protein interaction analysis system includes all of the components required for interaction analysis: instrumentation, ProteOn Manager™ software, ProteOn sensor chips, buffer and reagent kits, and protocol development kits.
