The Experion™ Pro260 starter kit is intended for new or experienced users of the Experion automated electrophoresis system. This kit contains all materials necessary to get started on the Experion system, allowing the user to practice techniques and analyze data or validate the system using a known protein standard (bovine IgG). Get started or practice with step-by-step instructions and tips for successful microfluidic separations using the provided standard before moving onto your own samples. An Experion RNA starter kit is also available for studying RNA samples (StdSens RNA starter kit).

The Experion protein starter kit includes all the necessary consumables to illustrate the utility of the Experion system in protein applications. This kit provides information on:

  • How best to prepare and load a protein chip
  • Protein quantitation and sizing using a known standard
  • Creating and running a standard curve for protein analysis
  • Tips and common mistakes

The Pro260 protein starter kit contains:

  • Experion Pro260 reagents
  • Experion Pro260 chips, 3
  • Narrow-bore polypropylene pipet tips
  • Polypropylene microcentrifuge tubes
  • 0.2 µ filtered water
  • DTT reducing agent

The Experion automated electrophoresis system can also be used for a number of upstream and downstream workflows in other nucleic acid and protein applications.
