The Model MX-1 mixer includes a mixer body (263 µl) and a standard mixer barrel for a total volume of 750 µl.
The BioLogic Maximizer mixer may be used with one or two mixer barrels, which fit between the mixer body and the mixer top and are used for higher flow rates. The mixer is preassembled with a removable 5 ml barrel extender.
