With KnowItAll's MineIt application, users can view reference databases, user-created databases, or hit lists generated by the companion SearchIt application. This interface allows the user to access databases containing many types of data, such as IR, NMR, MS, UV-Vis, Raman, NIR, structures, chromatograms, physical properties, and more. MineIt also includes sophisticated datamining capabilities to rank-order their datasets using color code and weight scoring, or compare two variables using a scatter-plot diagram.
Bio‑Rad also offers an additional feature to build databases of spectra and chromatograms (IR, Raman, NIR, NMR, MS, UV-Vis, LC, GC) with related structures and properties.
MineIt is available as part of certain KnowItAll software packages. Types of data accessible using MineIt will depend on the edition of KnowItAll, options licensed, and databases licensed.
