The xMark™ microplate absorbance spectrophotometer has a monochromator design with a spectral range of 200–1,000 nm. The spectrophotometer can read standard 6- to 1,536-well microplates and custom plates. The instrument has a built-in incubator with continuous temperature display and a built-in shaker with variable mixing speed and linear or orbital mixing mode. Using the included Microplate Manager® software (PC or Mac), the xMark spectrophotometer can perform a range of end-point and kinetic applications as well as extensive data analysis.
