iQ-Check® Listeria spp. kit is a rapid method consisting of ready-to-use reagents for real-time PCR amplification and detection of Listeria spp. in food and environmental samples. Each kit has enough reagents to process up to 96 samples. The kit contains grinding beads, lysis reagent, PCR mix, a positive control, and a negative control. Each reaction has an internal amplification control to validate a negative result. After a single primary 24 hr enrichment, samples are ready for DNA extraction and real-time PCR analysis.
