Bio-Rad InPlace process-scale chromatography columns are designed for industrial applications and allow contained filling, packing, unpacking, and cleaning in place for safe and hygienic column operation. To learn more about Bio-Rad InPlace columns, click on the video.

The Bio-Rad liquid pump inflates the seals on Bio-Rad process-scale chromatography columns without the need for compressed air. It is mounted on top of the column and allows the seal to be manually inflated. Advantages of the liquid pump:

  • Self-contained system eliminates the need for compressed air
  • Column stays watertight without permanent air connection
  • Manometer is standard equipment

 

Glycerol is the standard filling for the liquid pump and inflatable seal, but another liquid can be used if specified.
