Prestained SDS-PAGE Standards
Prestained standards are used in SDS-PAGE and western blotting applications. They allow continuous monitoring of protein separation during electrophoresis and provide a quick and easy way to assess blotting efficiency.
Prestained standards are provided preblended in a stable sample buffer. No reconstitution or further dilution is necessary before use. Prestained SDS-PAGE standards are available in high, low, and broad molecular weight ranges so you can select the range that is best for your application. The molecular weights of each lot are individually calibrated and included with every vial.
Kaleidoscope Prestained Standards
Our most popular teaching lab standard, Kaleidoscope prestained standards contain seven individually color-coded proteins, allowing real-time monitoring and instant band recognition of proteins during and after electrophoresis. Precision Plus Protein Standards
Precision Plus Protein standards offer unsurpassed band sharpness, accurate molecular weight estimations, lot-to-lot consistency, and instant orientation for gel electrophoresis and western blotting. Precision Plus Protein standards contain 10 highly purified recombinant proteins, including three reference bands, in an ideal range of bands from 10 to 250 kD. Precision Plus Protein standards are available in Kaleidoscope, unstained, all blue, and dual color options, providing four new ways to get sharper looking results.
Silver Stain SDS-PAGE Standards
Silver stain SDS-PAGE standards are blended to produce uniform band intensities with no extraneous bands when stained with Silver Stain Plus stain. Available in high and low ranges, these standards are not prestained.
