The EVOLIS Premium System is a self-contained microplate processor for automated, microplate-based EIA testing. Offering a high degree of analytical performance, the system is dedicated to smooth and safe handling of materials encountered in busy environments.
Designed for mid- to high-volume testing (30,000 to 100,000 tests per year) with the highest level of safety, EVOLIS is fully automated for walkaway operation. Process up to seven microplates (U-bottom or flat bottom) at a time, with up to 12 assays per plate. The system allows continuous loading of samples, up to 198 primary tubes at a time, and continuous loading of reagents and microplates (up to 7 at a time) for maximum flexibility. Sample racks can accommodate 8–16 mm diameter tubes and reagent racks are designed to hold various tube sizes. Other features include dilution capacity for 288 samples, four independent temperature-controlled incubators, four ambient light-protected incubators, and three different wash buffers.
With comprehensive, multitasking software and full uni-/bidirectional functionality, multiple networked EVOLIS Systems have the ability to centralize results management with one connection to the laboratory information system (LIS).
EVOLIS Premium assures the highest level of laboratory safety with positive identification of samples and reagents and a unique triple pipetting verification technology (capacitive, barometric & colorimetric detection). The system offers automatic password protection and complete traceability. Process control is built-in and includes full log documentation.
