Bio-Rad's breakthrough Droplet Digital PCR technology provides absolute quantification of nucleic acids, enabling the detection of genetic changes in applications such as copy number variation and rare sequence detection.
The QX100 system partitions each sample into 20,000 individual nanoliter-sized droplets. After DNA amplification by PCR, positive and negative droplets are counted to provide absolute target quantification at single-copy resolution.
