BioLogic™ Low-Pressure Liquid Chromatography Components

Three valve types:

• Buffer selection and automated Sample Loading Valve (SV-5): allows selective control of up to five buffers and automatic injection of large-volume samples
• Manual Sample Injection Valve (MV-6): accommodates user made loops of any volume
• Fraction collection/Column Bypass valve (SV-3): a two position solenoid valve directs effluent flow from the column to a bypass position or from the fraction collector to a waste position. Also compatible with the Econo gradient pump and Model EP-1 Econo pump

The model EM-1 Econo UV monitor is a single-wavelength coldroom compatible detector for flowthrough monitoring of effluents from chromatographic columns, centrifugation gradients, and the like. The optics module includes both 254 and 280 nm filters and a 2 mm pathlength flow cell.

This conductivity monitor is essential for optimizing protein purification methods and confirming the efficiency of chromatographic separations. It includes an external flow cell and is capable of real-time monitoring of conductivity in Siemens units and custom-scaled monitoring of gradient progression.
