Description

Description

Use the Dodeca Gel Stainer for high-throughput gel staining to ensure high-quality, consistent results and eliminate gel breakage from excess handling.  Dodeca Silver Stain Kits enable the detection of nanogram levels of proteins in 1D and 2D electrophoresis gels.

Dodeca Stainer Features

  • Patented* shaking rack holds staining trays at an angle to allow air bubbles to escape — ensures uniform gel staining and efficiency and protects gels from breakage
  • Flexible design that accommodates a variety of gel sizes
  • White development tray that allows easy monitoring of the final development step during the staining process
  • Reagent access door integrated into the lid to add staining solutions without disturbing the gels

Dodeca Silver Stain Kit Features

  • Can be used to stain individual gels
  • High sensitivity; 0.25–0.5 ng for BSA
  • Staining complete in less than 3 hours
  • Low background staining and fewer artifacts to enhance the detection of low-abundance proteins
  • Optimized to minimize silver residue deposition in the Dodeca Stainer
  • Compatible with mass spectrometry, without any further treatment
