Description
Use 10x Zymogram Development Buffer to initiate enzyme activity in zymogram gels. The buffer contains the divalent cation, calcium, to activated calcium-dependent proteases such as matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs). Prior to development, zymogram gels are incubated with Zymogram Renaturation Buffer to remove the SDS to allow protein renaturation.
