Certified Molecular Biology Agarose Powder
Bio-Rad's Certified™ molecular biology agarose, a special agarose formulation for exceptional DNA separation and more durable gels, provides the sharpest resolution of fragments of 20–20,000 base pairs (bp). The gels are ideal for all teaching laboratory applications: they are easy to handle, even at low agarose percentages, and are recommended for the low-percentage (0.8–3.0%) gels required for DNA fingerprinting, PCR, or restriction digest analysis.
Certified PCR Agarose Powder
Certified PCR agarose is recommended for separation of DNA fragments ≤1,000 bp. This high-strength agarose forms gels that are easy to handle and that remain flexible even at high gel percentages, which minimize the risk of cracking or breaking. PCR agarose, unlike GQT products with similar sieving properties, is a standard-gelling-temperature agarose, so it is faster and easier to prepare.
Certified PCR Low-Melt Agarose Powder
This agarose has a high sieving capacity and yields excellent resolution of fragments ≤1,000 bp in a low-melt or preparative format. This agarose is ideal for digestion by agarose and for all in-gel applications.
Precast Agarose Gels
ReadyAgarose™ gels are individually packaged precast agarose gels. The UV-transparent trays backing ReadyAgarose gels lock into Mini-Sub® cell GT and ReadySub-Cell™ GT electrophoresis chambers for ease of use. These gels provide resolution of nucleic acids from 20–20,000 bp.
